BLOG POST: Tiny Moments, Big God
By JussKyia
There’s a certain type of silence where you can feel God breathing on your life.

I’ve come to realize that God rarely announces Himself with lightning bolts or earthquakes. Sometimes He will—but more often, He slips into our day through moments so small we might overlook them. Yet those tiny moments can hold more weight than the loudest miracles.
Recently, I experienced one of those moments.
My son—who is usually quiet and reserved—made a joke. A real joke. A playful, humorous, lighthearted moment between us that I had never experienced from him before. And something in that simple moment touched me so deeply I had to stop and thank God.
It wasn’t a breakthrough session.
It wasn’t a dramatic healing.
It wasn’t a major life event.
It was one sentence.
One smile.
One tiny moment.
But it was a big God moment.
You see, we underestimate these things because we expect God to show His power through grand displays. We want burning bushes. We want parted seas. We want the thunder. But most of the time, what God gives us is a whisper.
Not because He’s quiet —
but because He wants us close.
As I was driving to my client’s house that morning, thinking about everything the Lord has brought me through, I realized something:
All throughout my life, God has been speaking in the tiny moments.I just wasn’t always paying attention.
The unexpected peace in the car when I was overwhelmed. The sudden clarity in scripture after reading a passage for the tenth time. The shift in my thinking that felt like it came out of nowhere. The little blessing that showed up exactly when I needed it.
These moments aren’t random.
They’re intentional.
They’re divine.
They’re personal.
God loves to reveal Himself in the details.
We think miracles have to be loud, but sometimes the loudest miracle is the one that shows up gently and quietly — the kind that meets you right where you are, touches one corner of your heart, and changes your entire day.
That’s why this week, I’m focusing on the little things — not because they’re small, but because they’re sacred.
How to Notice God More This Week:
Slow down your morning just a little bit.
Pay attention to the thoughts that comfort you unexpectedly.
Look for the moment of peace in the middle of your routine.
Notice the tiny blessings you usually rush past.
Ask yourself, “What did God do today that I almost missed?”
You will be surprised at how present He really is.
Because the truth is this:
You don’t need a big miracle to know God is working. You just need to open your eyes to the tiny moments.
And in those tiny moments… you will find a very big God.
